The duration of the program can be from 6 to 12 months depending on the mode of study (full time, part time, and apprenticeship).
The qualification consists of 13 units of competency with basic level including
Client through Consultation: Learning how to identify the needs of the client and what services will best fit them.
Enhancing Clients’ Nail Features: Applying acrylic, gel and other significant techniques to nails.
Skill comb in Manicuring & Pedicure: Acquiring the ability to provide excellent manicure and pedicure treatments.

Application of various nail techniques and services.
Client communication and consultation techniques.
Awareness of sanitary and safety measures in the beauty industry.
Composition of nail products, when and how to use them.

There is increasing demand for qualified nail technicians and there are greater job opportunities in the beauty industry. Therefore, after graduation, students may retrain in beauty, therapy or salon management.
There are no formal requirements, but it is desirable to have an interest in beauty and good communication skills. Candidates may be asked to take a pre-enrollment test in order to prove that they can meet the requirements of the course.
